Funding for ESS training
SDF
The Skills Development Fund is managed by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA). It’s primary objective is to encourage employers in
upgrading the skills of their employees. In line with the objective and spirit of SDF, WDA subsidizes course fees as an incentive to companies to send
their employees for training.
The SDF eligibility criteria are:
1. The SDF requires that all trainees applying for training assistance be legal employees of the applicant company.
2. Company must undertake to co-pay the unsupported portion of the training fees. Trainees should not be made to pay any part of the training costs supported by SDF.

SRP
Skills Redevelopment Programme (SRP) is a national programme to help redevelop the skills of out workers and enhance their competency and employability
through training and skills upgrading.
The SRP eligibility criteria are:
1. Company must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
2. Trainees must be Company-sponsored
3. Trainees must achieve at least 75% attendance and sit for all prescribed examinations required by the course
4. Company must also submit an application to the Skills Development Fund (SDF) to claim course fees funding for the same trainee(s) and course(s)
in your SRP application
